Delete your TourGuid account

01Delete it in the app

Open TourGuid and sign in. Go to Account, then Delete My Account, and confirm. Your account is deleted straight away. This cannot be undone.

02Or ask us to delete it

If you can't open the app, email admin@tourguid.net from the email address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my TourGuid account”. We may ask you to confirm that the request is yours, and we will email you once your account has been deleted.

03What is deleted

Your profile and sign-in details.

The trips you created, with their itinerary, checklist, attachments and uploaded files, and your membership of other people's trips.

Invitations and join requests to or from you.

Your posts and comments, and the messages you sent.

04What we keep

Records we must keep to run the service safely, such as the record of an action an administrator took on a report, are kept separately, only for as long as they are needed for that purpose, and are not used for anything else.

05Delete some of your data instead

You don't have to delete your account to remove things. You can delete any trip you created, and any post, comment or photo you shared, at any time in the app.
